Periodic Table Activity
During class this week we were given a blank periodic table and a bunch of elements we had never seen before. Then for each of the elements we were given the density, reactivity series, and ionization energy. After we were given all of this information we were told to fill in the periodic table. Although challenging I really enjoyed this project. It was like one big puzzle we had to fill in!

This was a huge challenge and was very frustrating, but eventually it became quite fun once I began to understand it all. I think I had over thought the worksheet at first because it actually turned out to be not as hard as I thought.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, I really liked the project as a whole and it really helped me appreciate how Mendeleev must have felt when putting together the Periodic Table. However, given the choice to do it again, I would pass on the opportunity.
