Common names: There are many types of willow trees including: Prairie willow, Pussy willow, Weeping willow, and so on

Species:

1. Tall Grass Prairie: Humilis (Prairie Willow)
2. Eastern Deciduous Forest: Babylonica (Weeping Willow)

 In season: Early spring to late fall

Uses: Used for Pain relief

Preparation: Boil Willow bark in water. Once boiled, filter out all of the remaining solids. A person should only need one cup a day

Chemical ingredient: Salicylic acid
