Preparation: Chicory's roots are prepared by adding two teaspoons of the dried root for every cup of water. Then boil the water and let simmer for ten minutes. Then strain. Drink as a tea.
Chemical Properties: Alpha-linolenic-acid: because of its OH properties it is soluble in water
